Our factory is based in Tirupur, Tamil Nadu, India, which is the organic cotton capital of the world. By keeping our supply chain localized within this region of India, we minimize our carbon footprint along all stages of our production in India from raw material sourcing and fabric weaving to final product manufacturing and packaging, until our finished garments finally make the journey to Canada. 

We ensure that any factory we engage with adheres to strict protocols and we rely on third-party certifications to back up their claim, via the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification which covers all stages of manufacturing - as well as ecological and social criteria. 

GOTS social criteria cover some key highlights below:

• Employment is freely chosen
• Child labour shall not be used
• No discrimination, harassment or violence
• Occupational health and safety (OHS) standards are in place
• Workers are provided remuneration of a living wage
