Meet Bota.
Cousins and best friends, Rayna and Grace, co-founded Bota Undergarments in Calgary, Alberta in 2022. Bota is a dream that's been over five years in the making and started because we couldn't find underwear on the market that met our standards.
Our goal is to create amazing underwear that's better for your body and the planet.
We believe you can love what you put on your body every day, no matter your size, and still feel good about the impact you're having.
A Note on Sustainability.
We are dedicated to being part of a new breed of company that is holding ourselves accountable.
That being said, "Sustainability" has become a loaded word these days, as greenwashing has become more and more prevalent.
We believe sustainability is a journey, not a destination. We are 100% committed to always keeping sustainability top of mind as we make any business decision, however, we are fully aware that there will always be more to do.
We are excited to take you on our sustainability journey and below are a few things we are doing right now to operate sustainably.

GOTS is internationally recognized as the toughest organic textile standard because it includes every step of the manufacturing process including ecological and social criteria.
All Bota packaging is plastic-free
Plastic pollution is a big problem for humans, animals, and plants as it can release toxic pollutants into the ecosystem the environmental damage is long-lasting. All bota packaging is made from recycled material and is completely plastic-free.
We strive to minimize all of our waste
We reclaim our own textile off-cuts during the manufacturing process to produce our "Born Again" Scrunchies to minimize our textile waste and give our materials new life.
